Ciao! Hi everyone! I know it’s been a while, but please don’t get angry. I’ll still fulfill my promise, to elaborate more on what’s the reason no matter how busy I am, I still think I need to continue writing. Where should I start? Okay, I don’t know what to call it but the past two months were like the busiest time in my life. Now, I can slowly take a breath and seeing the bigger picture behind all this chaotic madness.

Feels so good to finally can write again. Yup, maybe writing is not just a need but it’s more like a therapy to me. Need it badly to help me release my stress. What about the past two months? Well, to be honest, I did write about two to three articles but all are unfinished. Even until now. I can’t lie that I was overwhelmed and exhausted. To the extend that my brain freeze in the middle of writing. Lol.

Starting my own project, my own home bakery, even if it’s just a work space, really drained my body and soul. Just can’t explain everything here, we need another blog post specially for this one. Haha. This new field really out of my league. Never been this busy before. Thanks to the Jakarta traffic which add more drama to my life. In the past two months, my life was so robotic. Up first thing in the morning, start my day with crazy traffic, baking the whole day, back at night facing a lot of cranky fuzzy people rushing back home, pass out, on repeat. Sounds familiar?

No way. Please don’t tell me you let this kind of madness take part in your daily life. I know what you’re going to say. As if we have a choice? Yes, we do. I know maybe we do still need to face the traffic, we do need to get up early and get our ass at work. But who doesn’t? We all need to work. Be productive. Useful. Meaningful. To the community. To everyone. Isn’t it the reason why we still call ourselves as human?

And when we all realize that being busy is our own choice, there won’t be grumpy annoying people in this world. Busy is a bless. Come on. Taking a break is always fun, but tell me you won’t go nuts when you got nothing to do. Traffic in the big city is something that we can’t avoid. When we choose to live this kind of city life, it’s all come in one package. So please, it’s our choice.

Why I keep saying this? Because lately I met so many people who I assume as people who are not happy with their life. Why people? God creates us as His best creation. We are not only blessed with our senses, but we do have thoughts and soul. I know I might sound so bossy but let us stop being annoying, shall we?

Stress? Not just you. We do all have our own stress. Our own problems. But hey, again, that’s what make us human! Think again, what kind of stress that you face? Who knows it’s a healthy one. Yes, healthy stress. Working overtime is one of the example. When we work so hard it means our business doing really well. Good business means good amount of money. With good amount of money we can go for vacation, treat ourselves with pretty shoes, bags, just name it.

Everything starts from us. From the positive mind. Healthy soul. Doesn’t matter what’s the input. The most important thing is the output. How we deal with ourselves. How we translate and transform all those energy into something positive and good for everybody surround us. Again, being productive and useful.

I can’t be more thankful with good friends around me. God keep sending them to make me stronger. One of our best friends, Benny Lim, is the one who keep supporting me to write. He said, the important key word is, PRODUCTIVE. Do things that you love, do it with your heart. So that’s what I’m doing now. Bake every single day and continue to write.

I might not be the best baker in town nor the best writer, but I am happy with my life now. That’s what matters. I prefer to surround my self with people who shares same value with me. There is no need to force something that we believe to others. We can’t force people to respect us either. Respect is something that we have to earn. We just need to carry ourselves well and respect each other.

That is why sometimes I have to say no to some offer. Not because I don’t like it or being snobbish, but we just happened to be in different path. I am not gonna force myself to act and become someone else for the sake of money. We are responsible for every single thing that we do. As a baker, I am responsible for things that I bake. My customer might not know what I put inside their cakes but, I always telling my self, my staff, that it is our own responsibility. To ourselves and to God.

Same goes to my role in social media. No matter how good, how big the brand is, or the money, whenever I am incapable of taking responsibility to what I do, I’m sorry but I have to say no. Again, money is not everything. I just want to love things that I choose to do. I want to do it with all my heart. I believe our Almighty God will take care of the rest for us.

So, yup, that would be all for now. I just wish that all of you, including my hubby, could find more time doing things that you love. Love my hubby to the moon and back, he is my biggest supporter who introduce me to my passion, give me plenty of time to bake, even it means no home cook meals for him. I always fall asleep quickly every single night but no complain from him. He might not be there in the kitchen baking with me, but by taking such a good care of himself, it is more than enough for me. Call me lucky, huh? YOU TOO!
